Google app for Android now has a beta version in the Play Store

Developers have had a way to release beta versions of their apps to willing testers through the Play Store for a very long time now, but Google itself oddly hasn't been a big fan of the practice. Until now, that is.

If they haven't been fans of releasing beta apps... what about Chrome Beta? Furthermore, what about Chrome Dev, which is basically Chrome Alpha. Do those not count?
