so figuring this phone cost around say $800 , then to import it to the uk you would have import duty of around 20 pounds sterling and a 20% vat so you would be looking at it costing an additional 200 compared to the usa.

Got my z5 compact at the start of the month offered with the headphones, still no headphones or date of when they will be shipped.

Will be interesting to compare 950XL and Z5P web&video battery test, using S810 and slightly different sizes, resolutions,OS, cant wait... for now price difference is obvious(~200euro).

Umbilical Noose, 21 Oct 2015Why not just take back your goodies and reduce the price by... moreIt'd be nice if Sony (and all tech companies) started charging the same in the UK and europe as they do in America, rather than just swap the currency symbols. Notice how the phone is nearly a thousand dollars when converted, when it's likely three hundred less in US prices.

The free stuff in lieu of that's a nice gesture, if a bit hollow.

Why not just take back your goodies and reduce the price by the same amount?
