I have tried it for one hour (heavy use) and I found it gets quite warm, not hot like my P6 but I think it would still get quite hot if i tried gaming on it, or use turn by turn navigation.

Xiaomi's dawn days are near... Now a days people prefer latest versions on their phones, where as Xiaomi is still stuck with kitkat, Huawei is giving marshmellow updates to its phones with lower configuration than mi3, and Xiaomi is still planning for lollipop updates.

Hopefully Xiaomi will figure out (as Samsung did somewhat) that nobody attaches any value to their bloated, unoptimized and buggy MIUI overlay on top of Andriod. Most people prefer a fast and fluid experience over endless features they seldom use.
While other manufacturers are pushing out Android 6, Xiaomi is just starting to roll out MIUI 7 based on 5.0.1 and even 4.4 for some models.

I hope Hugo Barra & Lei Jun looks into this seriously, Is a big humiliation to Xiaomi.
