2016 -- Defocus from southeast asia and shutdown its busines in indonesia
2018 -- shutdown its business in middle east and africa
2019/2020 -- the same thing will happen in india, us, canada, and europe
2021 -- sold the mobile division to samsung/nokia. End of sony mobile.

C'mon SONY, forget about this platonic design, bring something new. Do you remember the ARC? Was a superb step-forward design for 2012... Do-it again!
