Microsoft quietly lays off another 1,000 employees

Just a few months after laying off a whopping 7,800 people, Microsoft has cut another 1,000 jobs, which is less than 1% of the Redmond, Washington-based company's total global work force.

Be might be better than steve ballmer, but ballmer was never any close to being a yardstick for performance as a CEO to begin with. So they're both rubbish. Hence, microsoft is steadily going down the drain.

                      Thank you to Microsoft and Intel for missing the lead on mobile. In fact, thank you to Microsoft for not taking the lead on anything. And thank you to Google for taking initiative on mobile and cloud and search and maps and youtube and keeping the web open. Having Microsoft or for that matter Apple everywhere would truly be intolerable.
