I was telling that to my friends, and at the same time was showing them tha One M7 that i stiill use today!!! The best phone of its time, and still One of the best!!!

HTC A9 $499-$599 - everyone complains - Go figure.
A9
Bigger screen, Bigger battery, Image stabilization, Easy vid processing
Bigger storage capacity, More ram, Shoots raw, Marshmallow etc.
Efficient chip set, Amoled, Battery save mode and it looks and feels great same as Apple.
Nuff said.

The metal unibody is a choice of material (we didn't say Samsung copied Apple's "design" when they used a dual glass cover for the G6's and Note5). The position of the antenna lines follow logically from using a metal unibody - all mobile devices have their antennas at both ends of the device. It is more of a necessity than a design feature. The One M9 and iPhone 6 are VERY different designs. the One A9 might as well be called a CHEAP iPhone...

I wished they had a slightly different design.sorry this is my personal opinion.
1.The finger print sensor in the front doesn't look cool. I phone 6 button shape looks awesome.
2.why did htc changed camera location. I wished if it had stayed at the edge.
Anyway it is a good phone. Specially using an amoled screen. It is interesting. Specs are as well for the price.

that's why we have this word-modify-means you take a finish product and its design then you remove parts by parts, examine it, observe it how it works how it function then "ding!"...voila, you "tweak" it here and there, place it here and there....that's it, done!

Wow so many people are so brainwashed by Apple they don't even know it. I have worked in the mobile industry for just under 10 years now and for years I have seen Samsung copy Apple throughout.
The Chinese do it all the time to many manufacturers but when Apple copies anyone its turn a blind eye to it all.
Back in 2010 HTC were the first company to make a metal phone, in fact they were first android, first nexus, first Windows, first 4G, I could go on.
In 2013 they brought handset that was a game changer, all metal design. On the back of that phone which was known as the HTC One now known as the HTC One M7 it was the first company to have two antenna lines top and bottom.
This design caught Apples eye, but it was too late to bring out that design. So because they don't change their design when there is a S they changed it when there was a number change, the iPhone 6.
But before that HTC had already evolved there design with the M8 with the same attenna lines but also with two cameras on the back. One small and one large, one 2mp and the other an ultra pixel.
When we fast forward a bit, HTC were unfairly criticised for not changing the design of the M9 so the based the design of the new A9 on the M8. It is now a flatter design, they remove the big camera and used the small camera on the M8 but with 13mp.
As for the front, I would a agree, it does look a little like an iPhone because they have decided to go with an all glass front and no front speakers.
But I could now list a number of features Apple have copied what HTC original did which are now on the iPhone 6s, HTC Zoe, Sense Home, Blinkfeed, app suggestion in Sense home and the list goes on.
So before you point the finger at smaller companies like HTC, Apple are only doing what most big companies do, still from the smaller one to make them look bigger and better.

Of course apple copied from HTC's design for the iphone 6's design, but it was not a blatant copy like the HTC did later. Apple at least bothered to change a few things, while HTC designers seem like they weren't interested in making anything new.

[deleted post]When you consider the chipset and OS development costs, the 6s has about the same profit margin as Samsung Galaxy S6. And where is it said Apple pays their work force the least? Last I checked, Apple doesn't even own a factory, Foxconn puts their devices together.
