Snap 200 is not a mid range handset.

Snapdragon 210 for 550 is acceptable and makes sense as it's a low end phone, but not for this if it's going to be a mid ranger.

I think they don't need 650 right now coz 640/640xl doing well.
Need upgrade for customers who bought 730 a year ago and replacement for high priced 830 at reasonable price. 830 was not at all worth the price compared to 730.
MS should place their products properly with price justification.
I doubt the price diff of 4k between 640xl and 640xl LTE.
Does 4G cost 4k more ? Then other android phones giving 4G @ Rs. 7500 are worth Rs. 3500 or so in 3G model ?

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2015Below average technology? The SD210 first became available ... moreNot only that but the WP10 software doesn't require a high amound of Ram or GPU to run. 8.1 Ran perfectly smooth on 1GB of Ram. Can't say that about many devices.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2015Below average technology? The SD210 first became available ... moreSD210 is a 32-bit cpu.
64-bit is the bare minimum 2015 onward.
That's said, there's nothing wrong with using 32-bit cpu, but you'll get low sales selling phones with 32-bit cpu in 2015. Especially in china and other asian countries.

Oh my god, Snapdragon 210..
it's still a 32-bit processor no matter which year it released.
For comparison, there's plenty Android phones with Snapdragon 410 (64-bit) with just $100.
Unless MS release this Lumia with $70 price tag, I doubt people will choose it over $100 SD410 Android phone, which also has more apps..

You don't even know how much this phone will retail for. Stop complaining about something that is not yet known.

I never understood why the screen to body ratio on phones (and also tablets) from well-known brands is so shitty like they were 4 years behind (maybe those companies simply are behind).
Bellow average looking phone with bellow average technology (snapdragon 210 is entry-level chipset and not mid-range) posing as mid-range phone.
In other words - Microsoft selling you entry-level phone for mid-range price. :-) Only dumb people will buy into this.
