Apple Pay coming to Canada and Australia by this year's end

Apple's mobile payments service Pay will be rolled out in Canada and Australia by the end of the ongoing year, and will be expanded to countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, and Spain early next year.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2015Lol there are cards in canada that arent nfc?I don't live in Canada. Hong Kong. And not all cards here have NFC in them.

Funny enough though, my AMEX does have NFC but can't be used anywhere because Hang Seng blocks all AMEX cards on their NFC readers.

    Gimme Samsung Pay over here!
    Not many Canadian retailers have even heard of NFC let alone have tap payment consoles.
    MST payment would be much more useful.
