Clearly it's not meant for everyone. But there will be people who will buy it
Please, don't assume every one has the same needs as you - a lot of wars in GSMArena start with this wrong assumption. So if they like it, we have no right to fault them for doing so, much less change their mind (unless you know, they're committing a crime against law or something).
Stop this iOS vs Android war nonsense. NOW.

I'd get one if it has special apps to miracast my laptop or smartphone, or can become a secondary screen. It has to be an easy one click action, otherwise, I don't see the use much. This thing CAN fit normal backpacks that can take 17" laptops. There should have been at least 20k may battery on this thing.

- large screen
- runs Android
Good job, Samsung tards! Why would anyone want to run a phone OS on a large screen? Why would anyone want to run phone apps on a large screen?
And best of all, why would anyone who wants to do presentations and other work-related stuff, be interested in a device that runs Android and provides almost zero productivity?
In order for this to be an acceptable product, it should've used Windows instead of that joke OS that is named Android.

AnonD-19153, 28 Oct 2015Samsung logic
Put 1080p on 18.4"
And 1440 x 256... moreHow do we know your not someone's professional Pr critic.
Stupid ? Samsung have turned out a new profile product, with the specs THEY have decided they want to sell it with, you know , 55 inch tv a 1080p , and now oooooooh 1080p at 18 inch,
what an earth shattering development, no not really. If you want stupid work out the history of retina, and the public don't mind being stuffed with that nonsense.

Samsung logic
Put 1080p on 18.4"
And 1440 x 2560 on a 5.1"
I'd say it's stupidity but i'm just a consumer not the professional critic

A very niched product. It either has a unique hardware or unique software feature, otherwise I don't see how it can be a better substitute to what's out there already... Especially with that price tag.

i'd buy this if it was x86 and had a higher res screen as it'd be great for watching videos in bed, but 1080p is a bit dated for a screen that size.

Before someone start saying why or its useless.
Its actually good idea but its just bad showed up/made(to expensive )
Why its good idea? Because you can use it as a TV/cook assistant in kitchen, and then move it to garden WITHOUT CABLES to watch some movie.
And you dont need to buy 5 TVs just for that. I have TV in kitchen but its stand in one place, and when I want to cook something I get my normal tablet or phone but putting this one on table and use it is just nicer.
Also its VERY Good device for mobile presentation. Tablet is cool for that if you want to show something to one-two person. But this one? You just put in on table or hood of car and show something to client with nice big quality, and then just hide it inside car.
AND MOST IMPORTANT
Its perfect for my mother that make rearrangement of furniture in house almost every fricking week :D :D
And TV is moved from one place to another... this one is perfect for her...
(ofc not as a normal tv but modern TV thas is usefull for YT and movies from pendrive/extHDD)
BUT
Price just killed it and its gonna be typical flop because of that. Some people gonna buy it, but its not gonna be top selling device... for now.

They could have well made this a dual boot tablet which would have really boosted up their market well across the globe. Anyway these idiots will never be bothered to release an android update after the first one. So, there is no point in going in for this device at all.
