With iOS 9.1 already rolled out, Apple stops signing iOS 9.0.2

30 October, 2015
It's worth mentioning that Chinese team Pangu had earlier this month released a jailbreak tool that works on devices running iOS 9 through 9.0.2.

Using 5s for while now and its just perfect, updates just keep coming and getting better, safari and addblock is just great, you can use web with 256k data just nice now. Android sucks , never tried it tho. Too cheap for me.

With 9.1 we finally have a usable version for the basics like Safari browsing. 8.x and 9.0.x were all glitchy and buggy. About freaking time!

My old iphone 5 is still using ios 6.
Anyways nothing's laggy my new 5s is very smooth on the latest version either.

I think it's stupid how Apple updates iOS ONLY to avoid jailbreaking. It's not about the millions of non jailbreak users.
Also, it is known that Apple makes iOS lag more on older devices to force people into buying the newest. I didn't notice any lags even with jailbreak except for the slower touch id. Everything else is working just fine and smooth.

                              User Report:

My iPhone 6 began to lag after updating to iOS 9.0.x.

My iPhone 6S lags more than the original iPhone 6 with iOS 8.4.x.
Quicker battery drain after updating to iOS 9.1. (Returned to the Apple Store and replaced with an iPhone 6S still running 9.0.1. Problem solved.)
iPhone 6S camera adds to much black. Details are lost.

WhatsApp is causing numerous issues—including, volume, messaging and bluetooth.

mike, 30 Oct 2015I wish I didn't update to ios9 , since then my 5c has been ... moreEven many (not all) iPhone 6 and 6+ users notice the lags on iOS 9.x, strange thing is iPhone 6S and 6S users also experience ocassional lags on their devices after upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1.

That being said, the gaming performance is still great.

This left me wondering it seems that iOS isn't as optimized as it used to be.

I wish I didn't update to ios9 , since then my 5c has been a little laggy in places, and it never use to be. probably a ploy from apple to force you to upgrade.
