Thus they dealt with that. Their pricing is also closer to other android devices than the iPhone.
They had (rather flimsy) reasons for not having external storage and its rumoured the s7 will have it again, but removable battery is unlikely without bigger design changes.
One last thing, lg didn't remove external storage or removable battery. But it didn't sell.

If you don't like a watch with a camera on it you probably wouldn't buy it. Did you not listen to what I said? All you do is talk about sales and now Samsung's approach, because you cannot reasonably find any fault with Samsung.

I smile when I see how stupid the non-Apple manufacturers are when they try to copy Apple in everything, including prices. Samsung produces its own displays, its own chips, they could price their phones much cheaper than Apple yet they insist in pricing them the same thinking that people think "it's cheaper so it must be inferior" and also wanting high profits from commodity items, which is not the case. Also, they try to make phones thinner and thinner, like Apple does, reducing battery capacity, creating ugly camera humps, removing SD card slots, removing notification LEDs, just to copy Apple. They think "maybe our stupid buyers think that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck". They fail to see that any change that Apple makes, like a smaller battery, depends on other things like more efficient processor, more efficient OS, etc. Look at HTC A9: very small battery used with the power-hungry Android and Qualcomm chips. They just think their buyers are stupid.
And in the end, they wonder why they fail.

lay offs are all too common nowadays, but finally nice to see some higher-level heads rolling instead of usually overtime working level people. hTC should do the same. punish the leaders all the way to the CEO if you must, problem is usually not with the soldiers but with the generals.

AnonD-442781, 02 Nov 2015Experimentation is good, it leads to progress. Lack of cont... moresamsung just do random things .. as i said earlier throw everything and see what it sticks
customers who buy those will suffer a lot and samsung does that without doing any research
imagine watch buyers .. first they released android version and then updated the same to tizen..
and they put a horrible camera in a smartwatch and then realised its useless and removed
i can give countless examples .. like half baked features added for the sake of it and removing it later like IP 67
and samsung had hardware advantage for quite some time and thats its strength , but when smartphones started moving towards software , even chinese companies started taking samsung for a ride

Also Apple experiments too, but in less pioneering ways, such as iPhone 5c, where they tried to copy having different coloured phones, (which they kept and Apple fanboys think they invented), and also mid-range phones (which they abandoned). I prefer Samsung's experimentation with air view (groundwork for 3d touch, supported by how Apple copied functionality), phablets, foldable phones, etc.
Apple's pioneering moment ended in 2010. But again, it is irrelevant to the consumer who does what, what matters is the end-product. Why you bring up Samsung's approach (which is better for the market) I don't understand.

and when jobs said that ( not apple :P ) bigger screens are not good , general perception at that time was against it..
anyway i don't dent that samsung pioneered the phablet ( just throwing everything on the wall strategy and one got clicked )..
anyway now seeing the samsung results , samsung phablet sales got severely dented by apple and other chinese phablets
