The best large phone of it's time (much better than the iPhone 6+ - and the tech reviewers agreed, with the overwhelming majority rating it better). Had mine for almost a year - zero lag. I'm on the Note 5 now, and like it's older sibling, it's the best big phone on the market, by a longshot.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2015Except Samsung goes out of their way to make it obvious the... moreSeriously? The iPhone 6 is a direct copy of the HTC M7. This new "peek and pop" Apple added was on the Galaxy S4 two years ago, and at that time the APlle Milita declard such functionality a gimmick.
They all take ideas from each other. Apple Pay, which you mentioned, was a direct ripoff of Google Wallet. (And again, was based on two things the iLegion declared a gimmick - NFC and Tap to Pay).
Remember when people looked stupid with those giant phones held up to their heads, until they suddenly didn't when Apple put out even bigger phones.

i got to say to bad for those who are force to leave,
but dude! for once can you stop talking sh!t about apple, has this comapny offended you? OMG what do you get by doing this?

If u said more better than ios android and wp , why samsung use other os? why just not stick to his own os ?? i dont think android will be history if samsung made bada an open source and u can see the bada itself trying to be like android .
but i admit , wave 3 have beautiful design, the quality , far more better than galaxy design. and their hot spot coverage really good. :)

Reason jobs are being cut is due to too many phone models which are not being updated to latest Android OS with no individuality in design and too much competition.
So new individual designs (body and icons) needed and on Marshmallow Android 6.0.

Was this because they had a surplus of unsold devices? The good side to this, they could cut on the volume of devices they produce/manufacture/assemble and perhaps even a cut in model/portfolio releases. The bad note to this, however, is that it is people's income getting affected

Even better than iOS + Android + WP combined together, the only downside it had it didn't had Apps and games. If Samsung made it open source i think Android would be a history.

They can only copy Apple. people said "samsung is king" because they used android ... if they used their own os... just look what happen to bada ..... more worst than BBOs . For the hardware , yeah , samsung really great , but the software...... hmmm ~
