The only factor that gave Xiaomi the upper hand is going to become irrelevant(along with sales) in South Africa due to the weak currency known as the Rand.

Long overdue for them to come to South Africa, but with the rand taking a nose dive and import duties that price tag won't be close to the actual price. Hopefully I am wrong on this one.
