Everyone wants to use qood lately because wood is a good insulation. Heat transfer to the back of the phone is slowed down. Don't forget this is another device using "dragon" chipset.

        Nits, 03 Nov 2015Seriously what's with all the Chinese companies and wooden ... morePoeple moan that metal scratches too easily, glass breaks too easily and plastic feels cheap.
        Apart from ceramic or stone which would also break easily we are left with wood or carbon fibre.

          Gsmarena perhaps forgot to also mention this ph has USB C, -the future; set to replace all port types & cables!
