Yet its not available for pre-order in the US? I've waited over 3 years to upgrade my Lumia 920, and Microsoft's lazy rollout is going to frustrate me enough to go with an Android. How about a release date?

IE on windows 8.1 on phone is great and the word prediction on keyboards are the best i have used so far, sometimes you don't even have to type in your whole thought it suggests words that you usually used, and the word flow flawless(same with swype app on iOS and Android).

Yes. me too want a good browser wth adblock facility and one more facillity : App reset in which we can delete all app data and save only our no. and name in getting more memoey space in phone and card when needed in imergency.

I hope windows 10 is nothing like Windows Phone 8.1 on my 640! There exist no good webbrowser for Windows 8.1 and there exist no really usable keyboard with acceptable spelling correction on Windows 8.1 and there is no adblocker for any browser on Windows 8.1!
Unfortunatly Windows 10 for all my laptops is a total dissaster, totally unusable, so I no longer have any hopes for Microsoft!
