robogo, 08 Nov 2015You all want super high end specs with indestructable build... moretotally agree with you, and also who's a fool who will bend their phone like that? even if its inside your pocket it can't be bend as same manner if you bend it with hands. I just goes like, What the Heck!? Phone are meant to be use on a fair manner, and not meant to be bend.
This is just crazy and will make people want more for their phones and gonna wish for the Manufacturer, "your phone must be, DUST, WATER, BEND proof" oh there or even FIREPROOF". are you going to use it in everyday life on those kind of situations. definitely NOT...

Mello, 04 Nov 2015Why do people stick with aluminium alloys for phones again?... moreTrue,steel is cheaper and has better mechanical properties(and even the weight isnt an issue with sheets this thin).The real problem lays with the fabrication process,its much more expensive for the steel alloys especialy for small delicate forms (like smartphone shells these days).So the manufacturers resort to much simpler and cheaper process of cold stamping alluminum sheets,pretty much like the "beer cans".... And than marketing them as "unibody" or other exotical terms,convincing ordinary people that alluminum bodies are "expensive" "upmarket" etc etc

It started with the iPhone ! Because in your jeans, or in certain situations, some iPhones bended !!!
It never happened before ! So now, when a phone is extremely thin, it's important to try this BECAUSE IF THE PHONE BENDS TOO EASYLY, nobody want's to find a destroyed phone in his pocket !
So, YES I AM INTERESTED, before i buy something that expensive.

i havent hear before of any bended phone from friend or family since smartphones came to the world ! , beside you want thin phone sure if you apply force it will bend its not thin as nokia 3310 !! , the last thing i would take in consideration is myt phone bending ! ...
if you want brick phones buy nokia or CAT .

You all want super high end specs with indestructable build quality, and yet, you moan and whine when such a phone COSTS.
It's not just about materials used; it's about processes used to forge and shape the materials. It's not the same price to mill a smartphone chassis from steel as it is for aluminium. Manufacturers, like every other business, look for a way that will bring the best results for the least amount of money.
If you look at it this way - every phone will bend. But try to find a situation where you will use and handle the phone in a way that will make it bend and/or snap. Only if you put it in your back pocket and sit on it, which no person in the right state of mind would do. At least not people who bought their phones with their own money.
Funny how much less fuss was made when the iPhone bent. Maybe because an army of fanboys and biased editors quickly put a lid on that one.

I am not an "iSheep", my first tablet was a nexus 7 2012. This year I upgraded to Nexus 9 and my phone is an LG G3. The only idevice I have ever owned was the iphone 4.
This post is just another disappointing fact about Google's latest nexus devices. They chose to go with a high price but they still have major issues.
It's just a weird year. Microsoft and apple came up with something good this time and Google was... meh.

i am sure he is faking it, check the unboxing videos of other reviewers of the same phone in youtube, see how the accessories are placed in the box and then watch him open the new box , its total bull shit, have u ever seen the cable and charger placed over the phone in a new phone.

i dont belive in my eyes! WOW, the phone that im in love with breaks like a cokiee!
i ever say Huawei will do shit with this, but google trut in that little chinese company who make the most fragile devices in this world!
If they go ahead with Motorola or HTC they sure will be better than this...chinese aluminium quality and bad construction do this things...sorry, better go for LG Nexus 5X
