Tizen Store have all the essential apps that usually used in android. Don't worry. Except for games which are limited. If you know how to do simple hack you can transfer android app to Z3.

When Samsung put Tizen globally and on high end phones , it will take even less years to surpass the iOS.
Samsung will not dump Android though. Just will make Tizen versions of the flagship phones. The great TW features run much better on Tizen, and the battery life is much better.

I see they changed several icons with material design(3d & shadow). The app tray now have transparent background allowing you to see the wallpaper instead of dull color background. The bottom apps icon are smaller now.

Samsung made Tizen the opposite of Android and iOS.
Android and IOS both have lag and stuttering issues and poor battery life. Tizen phones are economical with both CPU and battery.
The z3 has a 3-day battery life with 8 hours of SOT.

Samsung, along with intel, is part of the technical steering group that determines the architecture and coding of Tizen.
The Tizen SDK is also under a Samsung license. Just read the terms of service for Tizen. It's all Samsung. Intel isn't really putting it's weight on this project, since they don't really have a motive.
