When I see mobile skilled professionals (telecoms installers etc) out and about, most have Toughbooks.

mir, 10 Nov 2015You could have a decent laptop with a touchscreen for less ... moreThese are not aimed at individuals purchasing them for personal use (although some might do), it's aimed at companies that have employees who work in harsh conditions and the devices they use are exposed to tough conditions that would easily damage a normal laptop with a touchscreen. Even if the laptop is a tenth of the price of the Panasonic tough-book, the time taken to replace it with another, and the lost data is likely to cost much more than the value of the tough-book itself.

Look at that price. A shocker. We can't complain because it is for people who need tough rugged laptop. Only people who work in construction or outdoor need this. They make a lot of money anyway.

You could have a decent laptop with a touchscreen for less than half the price of this and even if it gets wrecked by any form of accident, then you can still get a new one and you would still be better off than buying this...

Maybe the zero or the last 9 was a typing mistake. If it wasn't a mistake then gsmarena made a mistake to write about it.
