This is a simple case of personal liberty regarding tracking and misuse of information by a multinational company. The old saying that "if you are receiving something for free it is more than likely you are not the customer but merely the product"
never has this been more apt when considering the revenue derived from loyal facebook users personal data regarding buying patterns and interests as well as on site basic click advertising and "freemium" games available.
The offline tracking is far beyond the level of acceptable associated with what was considered "normal invasion of privacy" by a social app.

The reason why poor countries are underdeveloped is that the ratio of uneducated and poor people is higher than educated people.. If we say we have nothing to hide it doesn't mean we are ignorant or we dont know any thing..

"I got nothing to hide" is not the gimmick. "Privacy protection" is the gimmick. They will track you down with or without Facebook or Google if they want to.

I don't use Fakebook - but they, and Google, and anyone else are welcome to track me all they want. I have nothing to hide. As long as they protect me from people blowing me up in my sleep or flying planes in to buildings I'm fine with it.
All these scaremongering comments about them taking away your privacy. NSA & CIA are not interested in 99% of the mundane garbage most people post. As for Google and Fakebook - they just track your search activity for more direct marketing promotions. It's how they generate the income to provide you with their services which you decide to agree to use every day. If you don't want to be any part of it you have a simple choice - don't use them.

I already made sure that they can't use my device in any way. The wonderful things about Marshmallow. I live in Belgium, I hope it gets through. I only use FB as a newsfeed anyway. I try to upload as little as possible knowing they can use it any way they want.

+1000 I cannot believe that some people play the "Do you have anything to hide" gimmick. I do not want to be tracked, it is something that should be private and a reasonable person always will feel bad about this.

This sometimes also apply to people of developed world. Apart from that people with insignificant lives can't really see the purpose of safety and security.
