AnonD-409829, 10 Nov 2015It's still not bad for the midrange, in fact it is spot on ... moreall this phone is is a paper weight to some people...
i recall when htc had the best specs but now they r not even forth coming about phone features and specs...wat a turd....i mean they have traded quality for quantity but have down graded the the over all prestige and now-a-days most people dont just get a phone that has good ratings and average specs...people want the best and true htc fans and supporters will be disapointed once again.......
they need to get back to the basic of what make people buy cell phone and the will be ok if not!!!! i predict bankruptsy....

Tom, 10 Nov 2015HTC - please make proper flagship phone with 4,5" display, ... more4,5" is just way too small for comfortable use - at least, for me. I don't even have big hands and find typing easier on a 6-inch Nexus 6. 5" One M8 was too small, I just kept on hitting the wrong keys while typing. In my opinion, 7" and bigger are tablets, not everything over 4,5".

Clearly, HTC is going down and this seems to be out of their own will.
You don't need a huge IQ to realize that the market is over-saturated with mid devices that nobody wants. Why will this one be any different?
HTC, i felt sorry for you at the begining of your downfall, but now I'm just waiting for you to RIP already..

No one is going to wait for HTC to get it right. It doesn't take 2 years to realize that the camera needs to be over 16 mega pixels along with front speakers. The CEO or the designer was probably bribed to spit out lackluster phones like the m8, and the m9. HTC has fallen to corruption just like any other Taiwanese company. Look at their stock prices, it's almost as bad as AMD.

AnonD-455399, 10 Nov 2015Now this what we expected.
Another 100000th variant for mi... moreWhat a hyperbole. Have you counted Samsung's releases? ;)
On topic: Hey, at least the X9 design may be good-looking (referring to the leaked image)

I have been a great fan for HTC but now it has been long forgotten. Should HTC want to compete then there should be innovation. Like Blackberry to mirror the ecosystem they use Android software rather than re-engineer their own software. HTC could be great with keyboards, do away with the clumsy layer of start screen, thin profile handset, expandle dual sim and microSD and finally a top notch processor. Otherwise no point every year with the same form factor and not very indulging and attractive.

Yep, I saw press stuff earlier and it seems the X9 is being followed up with the M10 in the 1st quarter of 2016. The latter is cool I guess.
It also makes sense for the X9 not to be higher that the handsome A9 handset.
However I wouldn't have worried about the X9 release. Keep the journey simple !

So HTC have made it a new habit of leaking a promising device and later on rejecting those rumors. Job very well done you losers,

Now this what we expected.
Another 100000th variant for mid range or flagship in a single year.
HTC just became the worst company.
They are trying to kill themselves just harder than what Nokia did.
Feel burning when I see legends like HTC and Nokia committing suicide that terrible way.
Shitty management must not be there at all!

I was just ....planing whether I should go for this product or samsung's new galaxy s7 but they have made it easy for me to chose. It is too difficult for the HTC to compete with others.

Thought as much, didn't look like a premium handset.
And it was far too cheap.
