I own a Moto G 2014 (2nd generation), it is working perfectly fine for me. It is powered by SD 400, which is about 1/4th powerful compared to the recent chipsets. It is slow at times (which is expected anyways), but not laggy and unusable like what you are making it out to be. And I am talking about a $150 device in India, not about android flagships which have much better performance.

As other android users used to ask - which cave did you hide under for the last 3 years?

Doesn't matter. They can cram 16 cores if they want, Android will always be laggy.

30% increase performance will make it a beast of multi core but still lagging behind apple's A9 single core.

Exynos 8890 will definitely be there in some region versions, for sure. It would obviously give more margins to Samsung, isn't it? SD 820 - Only god knows (if you believe in) at this point in time. We (humans) will come to know in couple of months time which regions will get that version.

One day we hear the S7 will feature the heater, the next day we hear it will feature the cooler - so which is it - SD820 or EN8890?

well i think that samsung needed qualcomm help this time, because besides being work under the same 14nm they are using customer cores wich qualcomm usually does...so why sammy uses that insted of just big little arm cortex arrangement....did they realize that customer cores does betetr than that ...that was qualcomm big mistake but im happy they did it with kryo cores and im sure that they will have equal peformance i dont think that there will be a big difference .... sammy putted specs already provided by qualcomm so if u askme wich will be betetr with power efficiency ..this time snapdragon will take the crown ...say what u wanna say.

I have the S6 and the processor in that phone is super fast and I can count on it everytime. Very stable and smooth operation with beautiful display and magnificent camera. I'm sure the S7 will also be a very powerful beast.

I used note 4 over a year ( exynos octa core version in India) and it freaking hangs every time and besides had xperia z2 which works like a charm at this instant.

In such tests the PowerVR GT-7600 has shown to be the most powerful mobile GPU in a smartphone to date. We'll see how the Mali-T880mp12 and the Adreno 530 compare when the time comes.
