dan's, 14 Nov 2015why use intel... whyyyyyyy?????If you need windows os for free you need use low spec'd device ( Max 2 GB Ram, Intel atom or celeron chipset ). That's why it's step down, otherwise Xiaomi don't have problem to use high end specs.

                              What could've made more sense?
Intel laptop class cpu but android incompatible.
Tegra x1 could also have made sense but it produces too much heat(not sure) although pixel c does have x1.
Snapdragon 820 isnt coming out this year.
Coming to screen size it should've been either 8.9 or around 10 inches with 16:9 or 16:10 ratio and close to 300ppi
Ram should be 3 or 4 or at least 1.5 to 2 gb free ram.
There should be expandable storage option and also tv out option.
About sim slot I dont think it needs it as for phone calls we have our phone dont we?
Its a home media usage device so no sim slot.

Intel x5 seriously?.. I might be okie with the cpu but... The gpu won't be as powerful to the likes of apple a9's powervr and nvidia's x1. ..let alone mali-T880mp12

as an owner of the first mi-pad i must say that as long as xiaomi wont be releasing kernel sources for their tablets, the tablets will be underpowered and slugish by all of xiaomi's bloatware
