Verizon TravelPass lets you call, text, and surf overseas

13 November, 2015
Many changes in the mobile industry have been thanks to T-Mobile (mainly eliminating phone subsidies in the US). If you had told me two years ago that Verizon was going to let you roam overseas for a reasonable cost, I would have called you a liar.

AT&T have had travel passport for a long time. Choose between $30, $60 or $90 overseas plan which allows free texts, reduced calling rates and a data allowance. Verizon is always last to the party.
