Pushbullet announces paid Pro tier which incorporates some previously free features

17 November, 2015
Pushbullet started out as a very nifty service that mirrored your phone's notifications on your computer, but it's added a lot more features in the meantime. You can now act on those notifications from your computer, send text messages from it through the apps on your mobile device, and much more - there's even "universal copy and paste", for example.

I really hate how everything is a subscription service these days. Screw that.

I don't get it why people use pushbullet... what about airdroid? i guess airdroid even has more features... am i missing something?

Why not charge once and keep the pro features forever on a limited number of devices, like Cerberus?
And if you really need a subscription model why is this so freaking expensive? It just syncs notifications, it doesn't do anything super heavy... It costs as much as a year of Evernote Premium when it should cost less than lastpass premium.
It was broken on my computer these days and was getting uninstalled anyway...

Time to uninstall...Would have bought if rather.

Not to worry guys, I'm sure a new startup will rise in 2 months that will do all this for free and more

Best way to kill a successful app.

Hehe. Just stopped using this after a few tries months ago. The developer is milking this all the way. Thank Samsung that there is SideSync that gives me practically control of my phone via Wi-Fi.

Uninstalled as I was reading this article. The should have left the acting on notifications for free.
