In between Z3+ and Z5 (exclude Premium edition) both having same resolution which is FHD.

Just coz of z3+? sony makes some awesome phones, with your locig i should never buy LG or samsung just coz i had problems with their products? No man, i am not that big of a fanboy. If sony makes a great product i will buy, as for all others :P

What a stupidity to begin selling a phone when the successor (Z5) is already released. Why would one buy the previous model - just because the Z5 isn't available? This is why Sony has such little market share in the US.

Why can't Sony and HTC join forces already? Obviously these two companies know close to nothing on how to advertise a product with overlapping specs and overpricing that it would actually make sense for them to merge.

AnonD-407080, 18 Nov 2015I have been very interested in a Sony phone and was excited... moreNo one does water resistance like sony, but make sure that if you get a pre z5 you buy the magnetic charger (its $15) so you dont wear the flaps and weaken the water resitance, (it happened with my z3 compact) but sony phones are the best OVERALL phones, they have micro sd card, front facing speakers, huge battery, specially with stamina mode I can get my z3 compact up to 2 days, and I've seen z5 compacts going for 3 days ( lower res screen helps with battery).

I have been very interested in a Sony phone and was excited about the Verizon z4v because I really want a waterproof phone that won't die when it has coffee spilled on it or rain or splashed water. However, instead of buying a sony phone now, I am hoping the Samsung S7 goes back to being water resistant like the S3,S4, S5. If not, then I will look at a sony phone as my backup.
