LG confirmed to launch mobile payment platform next month

In an industry dominated by Apple, Google, and Samsung, LG decides to join the mobile payment race by offering its own mobile pay platform.

I really to like this idea of OEM's each introducing their own Payment solutions, That's only going to quickly overcrowd and confuse the issue.

Yeah Samsung has the benefit of their Loop pay tech, but I much prefer mobile payments to be done at the OS level (i.e Android Pay).

    I can honestly care less who comes out with a mobile payment system, as long as it's secure and it supports Visa cards. I really hate Samsung Pay for only allowing American Express and other brands that hardly anyone has even heard of.

        We don't need another mobile payment system . I really hate how Samsung and now LG take an existing google service put their own spin on it and rebrand as their own . We don't need motopay , sonypay, or blackberry pay . We need these manufacturers to stop filling their. Phones full of apps that duplicate google services

          Mobile payment is still new enough, that if you have a great solution and spread it out, you can be in the game.

                    This will only have a chance to making any difference if it includes NFC & MST like Samsung Pay.

                            That's not what they need: they need a phone renewal program just like Apple!
