no matter what you say., you can NEVER change the fact that Nokia and Symbian dominates the mobile phone industry.,

You say Nokia is a copycat?

why are the other major brands copy the symbian platform on some of their flagship handsets?

        explain before you complain.

They must be thinking that if they do that, they will reach what nokia achieved... they did.. NOT! haha accept it or not, that's the fact and truth really hurts., it hurts as hell so go on, suck on nokia's popularity ^_^

The Fact that Nokia sells much doesn't mean it will continue like that, in the next few months the market will change so much and will decide the next leader.. its really more of a combination of a hardware and a software.
-Apple have the Software and its great community (AppStore and other)
but somehow incapable or don't want to produce high hardware spec.
-Htc is somehow confused between the new Android 2.1 and the coming WM7 and i think both of them will be near to each other and the support is what will set the difference here.
-Nokia.. well In my opinion it will depend on the symbian^3 or 4 or what is called.. lets just hope they release it before its too late.

oh, and about that Nokia C6 , i think they are just trying to gain sometime in the market.. who knows a mass upgrade of all s60 will be a boom. ^^

relax people, all the nokia haters calm down, nokia is number 1 in the world and that is fact since they sell more phones than all competition so stop with hate speech, anyway id like to say thanks to LG and samsung for producing cheap affordable touch screen phones which are now too common and also i want to praise htc who continue to make classy touch screen phones at a premium cost, elegance at its finest. nokia keep up your march for world domination and i cant wait for windows phone 7

And Symbian offers all you for a smartphone. My family and me are very happy user with Nokia phones (5800, E75, N87, E66, E70)

ofcourse nokia 5230 is far better than cripple corby . also samsung used symbian & windows os for its smartphone till now . although it has developed bada now but in this os u can't multi task truly . the apps will be paused in background. also it is not cross platform supporting os as the Qt in symbian^3. therefore limited apps for it.corby and star were sold like burgers becoz they were dirt cheap. their features were unable to match symbian. also samsung omnia hd now has got the firmware update to record hd video at 24fps. before that they were lying to customers by showing false specs. but the audio is still amr which means the worst quality if aac mean to be the best.sony ericsson vivaz was true to its promise.

amoled touchscreen have low sunlight legibility except s8500 and samsung pico.
nokia n97 mini is a much balanced phone either physically or by specs. u can't get better deal in that price.

Eg: a game for n97 will be easily compatible with nokia 5230 and so the themes also.
Please tell me can you play samsung star game to omnia Hd..
So the screen resolution is not the major issue...
And nokia 5230 price is about same the samsung star with plenty of many features than star, so you cannot say that nokia's phones price are high...

for example: one touchscreen phone very sell in europe is Vodafone 541, costs 60€. LG Cookie 100€, Samsung Star (is a sells sucess) 110€, Samsung Corby, etc... Nokia Smartphone are expensive and don't have new concepts and new ideas, just a symbian for touchscreen, is a samething a symbian non-touchscreen. Is shame, Nokia 5230 have exactly the same OS of N97, and cost 370€ more, and more, have the same screen resolution, screen tecnology, same OS. Nokia have two symbians phone family, non-touchscreen (320x240 screen and same OS) touschscreen - TFT (just TFT, no AMOLED) 360 x 640 with same OS, same UI, same rubish, and just one phone with capacitive touch, X6 (ah, samething 5800XM), congrats Nokia.

but in this way they are contributing in e-wastage. they often modifies or add some feature in the mobile and relaunch as a different name. they only eyes on profit and their quarterly balancesheet i.e. they have no environmental responsibility.

nokia studies the market, notices the cconsumer demands, and produces useful mobiles . it also launch the recycling campaign in which one can dump their old mobile phones, charger etc of any brand to their collection centres. sony ericsson also understands social responsibility.it also takes time to launch its new handset

samsung and lg are coming out with touchscreen phone almost every week while nokia wait for months before coming out with one and they are mostly more expensive than the koreans. it shows nokia still have a lot of catching up to do with regards to touchscreen phones which is the craze right now.

X6 cost 150€ more 5800XM, (5800 cost 250€ simfree).
with nokia strategy, the touchscreen nokia more cheap is 5530, cost 159€, Samsung Star cost 109€... is a shame
