LostInTheSorrow, 24 Nov 2015Memory cards are must as devices with different integrated ... moreYou're only stating the obvious, if sd cards is really that supremely important to you then you can go ahead and buy a capable older model that still offers it since most new flagships are getting rid of it. Just because a newer model comes out doesn't mean the older ones just up 'n disappear and cease to exist lol

[deleted post]I don't make up the facts I just report it, technology is constant and ever-changing has it ever occurred to you that Sammy might've found a viable workaround? Again, they didn't do this to spite you haters if they could have implemented it they would have.

mixa, 24 Nov 2015Remove SD, add SD, they are so confused and their customers... moreThere will be no removable battery anymore. Battery 2 years from now will be over 4000-5000mah and it will be really slow to charge with separate external battery charger instead of charging it inside the phone itself. Most smartphone these day have fast charging and that is why manufacturer don't want you to take it out. Even smartphone with removable battery have a warning in User Guide telling you to not remove the battery. Especially when the phone is switch on or even if it freeze. But of course you won't read the manual and be a reckless uncivilized caveman doing it your way since you think you are way 'smarter' than the manual.

Remove SD, add SD, they are so confused and their customers don't even know what to expect anymore. What about the battery?!? Add removable again? Nah that will be for the S8.....

Muthu, 24 Nov 2015Ok, I am not a Sammy hater, more of an android fan. But, Sa... moreIt doesn't matter what you claim to be a fan of when you are blatantly wrong.
The main difference between the s5 and the s6, if not the only difference, is the glass back. The galaxy s5 was widely criticised for using plastic, and they would have had to move to either glass or metal. Either way Apple fanboys and pseudo-apple fanboys like you would have said they're copying apple. There is literally nothing that can be done about the Apple extremists.
UFS is known to be different, and there would definitely be hurdles in implementing micro SD card along with it. There also would have been (slight) hurdles in adding it in the side, especially with all the copying accusations going round people like you would accuse them of copying HTC right? Or do you only make such claims when it's Apple?

Memory cards are must as devices with different integrated memory variants tend to get more expensive than it'd would cost to actually buy a card which would bring additional memory.

Muthu, 24 Nov 2015Ok, I am not a Sammy hater, more of an android fan. But, Sa... moreYet more of the similarities between the two are more Samsung design cues or at least that Samsung incorporated before apple did.
The frame, shape, overall design, bottom placed headset jack. All Samsung design cues it incorporated by them first.
The iPhone looks like a note/htc rip off. Not the s6 looking like an iPhone/htc rip off. In fact there is nothing really htc like in the design.
Samsung even ruled at stereo speakers back in 2009.... If only they still did.

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2015That's why they have many firsts in the mobile world and ma... moreOk, I am not a Sammy hater, more of an android fan. But, Samsung's recent design approach (in S6, Note 5 etc) is dubious at best, blatant copying of apple or htc (whichever you want to call it) at worst. Worser still - removing SD card support and overpricing the higher capacity models - it did look Samsung was desperately copying the wrong stuff from apple for a neutral person like me.
Also Samsung did not provide any official information during the launch of S6 why SD card support was removed. If UFS was the only reason, what is the current status of that limiatation? Has Samsung overcome it or not? Again no official information to rely on. Sounds more like apple, isn't it?

AnonD-463876, 24 Nov 2015If you want a strictly consistent experience then switch to... moreThe problem with that.. Especially comparing to a flag ship droid like the S6 or note 5.
That whole it just works crap has never been anything but a bunch of bologna with the iPhone.
Ios has had a dramatic world lead in app crashes compared to all mobile os's for many years now.
And as far as the system always being perfect. Lololololol. It hangs, it has some lag and crashes, there are many bugs, it has security threats and issues.
You just pay more for less and to be told those issues don't exist.
Meanwhile the whole idea behind the fact that it's so restricted and behind the times while only running on a couple very specific devices on very specific design hardware and software is that it's supposed to help eliminate all of that..... But not even close.
And that's probably just for profit and because they can rather than anything else.

AnonD-362866, 24 Nov 2015Where did I mention your country in the post I replied to? ... moreI think it's been more than covered by now that the only reason they didn't believe you was because you falsely implied that it was 120gb of cellular data.
Seriously.... With how much you try and pretend you know, and act ask high and mighty....how are you still missing such a ridiculously simple and obvious concept at this point????

You replied to a comment on a debate that was specifically talking about cellular data and gave a crazy number.
