              And you were talking about lag where people are talking about os performance.....

              Nothing in your comment even suggested os update. Nothing. And the fact that you think ios's half baked, bug filled, incomplete, never fixes the crashes updates are bragging rights if hilarious

                              I'm not trying to be evil or so whatever.. or either being call fanboy to any smartphone... I'm just wanna added here that, after I upgraded to ios 9.2 my iphone become slow and start reboot itself. Hmm, anyone know how to solve this? and yes I do connect with itunes to reset it back, but it didn't work ~T_T~

                                    And so are iphone 5s and iPhone 6. And animations are slower because of the lag, genius, people also reported framerate drops during those slower animations. IOS is notorious for making older devices slower and ios9 is even said to do comparatively better than its predecessors. But hey, on the plus side you get features android has had for years. Yay!

                                    This discussion is irrelevant to Apple having a cheap display, so let's leave it there.

Something that uses its own bytecode compiled from Java language does not make it Java VM ( and hence the wrong thinking that it affects battery and performance) :




                                        Important points from above sources reproduced ( and I take no credit for doing the same):

                                        "Dalvik is the name of the Virtual Machine in which Android applications are run. This VM executes Dalvik bytecode, which is compiled from programs written in the Java language. Note that the Dalvik VM is not a Java VM (JVM)".


                                        "Lollipop also contains major new platform features for developers, with over 5,000 new APIs added for use by applications.[14][15] For example, there is the possibility to save photos in a raw image format.[16] Additionally, the Dalvik virtual machine was officially replaced by Android Runtime (ART), which is a new runtime environment that was introduced as a technology preview in KitKat.[17] ART is a cross-platform runtime which supports the x86, ARM, and MIPS architectures in both 32-bit and 64-bit environments. Unlike Dalvik, which uses just-in-time compilation (JIT), ART compiles apps upon installation, which are then run exclusively from the compiled version from then on. This technique removes the processing overhead associated with the JIT process, improving system performance.[18]

                                        Lollipop also aims to improve battery consumption through a series of optimizations known as "Project Volta".
