Sony Ericsson Satio and Vivaz finally get a music equalizer

Today i have updated my vivaz. But i have not found any equalizer in my vivaz. It has not been appeared in shortcut option. From where can i get to see?????

anno, 24 Apr 2010Ok, ontopic again: Who can give me the answer, i install... morego to were u got ur phone say its goin off all the time and freezinand they will put new softwere on i did my equa is workin now or download update software on sonyericson website it tell u how there its easier to get shop u got phone from to do it for u

Well, don't expect much on this. It's not like the MAIN ISSUE (meaning: this phone having a ridicilous low volume level) will be sorted with having an equalizer.
But it will help, adding some of the mids and lows that were missing.
Specially if you like electronic music, you must have this equalizer.
Go to: www.sonyericsson.com/fun on your phone, then click on Software and there you can download it.
It works fine.

Who can give me the answer, i installed the Equalizer but it says i dont have the proper software version (i updated it to the latest version)..
Anyone?!

my fone was the same with the games but they are there just not intalled. u gota go into your file manager then phone memory nd then other folder and install them.

I got the Vivaz on Saturday from 02 and I've already had issues.
02 have removed all the games. So you don't get rally Pro preinstalled as Sony websites are claiming.
Also, I tried to download the equalizer app and it didn't work because my phone was in the wrong time zone? My phone seems to think GMT London time is roughly 12 hours off what it should be.
When I rang Sony ericsson they seemed to think it was some tinkering that O2 do to the handsets that causes this.
02 on the other hand, think they're completely in compliance with rules and regulations and see no problem with the software that have.
I love the handset. Everything expect the lack of equalizer. Yes, the W995 is the ultimate music player phone. But when you're paying nearly £400 a unit, surely asking for some bass on a song isn't too much to ask!
What happened to people who had Satio software issues? How were these sorted. I'm willing to ride out the software issues with the Vivaz if it all gets sorted in the end.

The 'Party' setting is the best option. Seems to be the most balanced with the right amount of BASS!

Thanks for the update on the update! Really confused me why a Sony phone wouldn't have an equaliser. I tried it out with some heavy warbling basslines on the Megabass setting and it sounded much better. You don't have to hide it in the background either, you can close the application and it still works.
I found it by navigating to the PlayNow website on my Vivaz and selected Applications> Top 20> Free (tab)

could anyone help me i have the sony satio and wen i go to send a tex itonly has 160 letters and i carnt text any further how do i get longer texts as this is too short also help me wih the equaliser were can i download pls give me a direct link to do this thx pat

Adam, 18 Mar 2010Note that with the equalizer in Satio and Vivaz all multime... morei agree wid u adam the eq functions in almost all applications that nid audio esp. radio. using it makes me frquently listen to fm radio bec the sound resulted to be unbelievably good... indeed a bonus for se satio users.. how i wish slideshow software like resco viewer, conversation like isms auto reboot and ui interface observable update wl b the nxt priorities of se.. wer hoping soo...
