Apple sux big time!!! first their media player market came down, then their only hope was the iphone, now that too is threatened coz therenare better (real ) smartphones with advanced multimedia functions like Htc HD2,NOKIA N900,X6 etc. The only thing appke can brag about is there graphics. So now they are suing everyone!!!! Apple sux, HTC AND NOKIA RULZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iphone is the best phone overall.
I have an INNOV8. Great great Camera. Plays Divx, etc. But at the end it dies as another commmon phone. Not a special phone to me. And Symbian application market is so poor now (compared with billion of applications for the iPhone). I use it just for shooting.
I also have a Nokia N97. 90% same as Nokia 5800. If fact its hardware is 95% as 5800's. Just more internal memory but CPU speed and RAM are the same. 128 RAM is so low. I hangs up all the time. Have N97 owners worked with 4 o 5 not-so-heavy applications at the same time without getting the "low memory" message?. The lack of interesting applications to me is a fault here, again. (Camera isn't a "wonder" for a high end phone. Just "ok" pictures.). At the end I want to sell it. Symbian S60V5 is annoying most of the time.
My Motorola Surf (A3100) is good. But limited to a average number of WM 6.1 applications, as it happens about Symbian. It doesn't hang up. WM6 handles RAM a lot better than Symbian does. I think the A3100 is somewhat an Iphone wanna be (like hundreds of phones) but definitely it's not. Overall, good phone. Difficult to operate for not trained people (not got used to WM6 "complications"). I use it as a secondary (not back up) phone.
Blacberry 9000. Well. All this hype on Blacberry took me to buy this 9000. What can I say?. It hangs up frecuently (it leaves me to think about memory...). The track ball is a nightmare when it gets dirty (what happens quite frecuently). The software itself is quite boring (BB users: are you going to tell tell me that using a BB is enterteining, or funny, or a good experience???). Browser is the most weak among all of my phones...this BB is not really to heavy surf the web
Finally. My iPhone. Billions and billions of applicationes. Of any kind. Free. Paid. What you want. Ease of installation. Great screen. Great music player. And more, more and more.
Faults?. Any phone have them. Main is lack of multitasking, I agree. But it means nothing compared with the huge range of things you can do with the iPhone.
Camera: probably a fault in the 3G (altough there are plenty of good and excellent picture-enhancement appplicationes that do offer wonderful results). Anyway I switched to 3GS two months ago and I got a improved camera and I shoot a lot with my iPhone too, besides the INNOV8. At the end my old 2-megapixel 3G still does really better pictures that other 3 megapixels phones (with no AF)
Quality construction is the best in the market. Read it very well: NO OTHER FEATURE PHONE OR SMARTPHONE HAS THE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION THE IPHONE HAS. Maybe a luxury phone like a Vertu could excel it but just that.
I am not saying iPhone is in top forever. No. More phones will come and will excel it. Phones from Apple, HTC, Windows Phone phones, etc (I dont konw where Nokia is going...). For me, right now, my iPhone is the best.

i think htc can not get apple.iphone is the best one.2g,3g&3gs are on the top.htc have dream for getting apple.i have iphone 3gs and htc hd2.hd2 is a terrible phone,because of it os.in the end:just iphone.

GO HTC!!! Apple is scared of a real smartphone that has a real OS. Apple OS isn't even a real OS. What phone other than iPhone is it on? Nothing, therefore, it is PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE. HAAA!!!! I hope HTC Countersues and Wins a Tremendous amount. Oh, I also hope Nokia gets on board with this because Apple was trying to sue them as well. Apple is trying to make it to where they are the only phone seller in NA which would really suck because the iPhone is so obsolete. It was obsolete even when the 3GS(uck) came out. HTC and NOKIA should both sue Apple and make it to where they can't sell that garbage iPhone in NA. GO HTC!!!! Oh and I'm getting the HD2 on next Wednesday and it will blow the iDon't out of the water AGAIN!!! HAAA!!!!

USA have they own patent system, so apple always can accuse every company. And they do it! If somebody is chasing them in selling result, they say: hey! Your buttons cant be black! Your screen cant be 3.5inch! Its our patent!
Second thing is that apple is... Stupid. Not in term of hardware/software but in term of selling and talking with users. When they show new device first they create virtual advertising full of *(very small text on bottom), saying: iphone is first device with touch screen(multitouch screen) iphone is first handset with music player(ipod player) etc... And americans belive them, buy iphone and say that iphone is first phone with all-in-one. Remember that more than half ppl in world have no idea about they phones, so even if they have high-end handset, they dont know that and buy iphone because commercial say that iphone have all stuff... Paranoia, nothing all...

Even though we live in a relatively free market, when you try to compete with the leaders, expect backlash. Apple knows they are on top of the phone market, so they are trying to make a case based on brand equity. HTC doesn't stand a chance. I would follow http://www.weltbranding.com/blog/ advice; which basically tells other companies to do their own thing.

Dear mr steve jobs, you did well in advertising and selling your overrated products and saw the positive results. we really all hate you and your team with all your overrated and expensive products it may be a good idea to stop now picking on other hard working manufactures now even though they have better stuff to offer and its their job to make competition as you say “competition is healthy”so stop now and you wont have to face being hated.

After Android market share skyrocketed to 5% in less than 2 years, Apple is trying to dilute that. Apple shouldn't mess with Google, Google controls 50% of the internet and it can easily affects Apple products like blocking their Application from access Youtube

To apple :-
make something genuine & authentic hardware & software without getting support from other companies (google,Qualcomm etc.). Do not waste ur time in sueing. otherwise you will rot soon!

and nokia was been bugging apple for years for the tech they stole so that's why nokia sued them
and both patents apple is sueing nokia and HTC for are so broad
