But iphone 6s plus still beats everything with its FHD resolution and other smartphones with sd810 and the same screen resolution are just a lot poorer.PowerVr has always been better than adreno and a lot better than the crappy mali gpu which is used in low end chinese smartphones.
PS: look at the benchmarks of the ipad pro, with its almost 4K "low" resolution it has 100% higher scores and beats every thing which will be released in the next years even some laptops and not so old computers

Yeah right so this a power house. Samsung always wanted some crazy benchmark scores. this is what Exynos is all about. but i'm pretty sure that Snapdragon 820 will be the most well balanced high-end SoC for 2016 android devices..

What is this about releasing earilier to boost sales? I read, on this very site no less, that they were releasing this phone earlier because of some sort of convention for mobile devices. It takes place earlier this year (i'm assuming because of the day that it falls on), so they're releasing it a day or so before hand just like last year.

AnonD-47753, 27 Nov 2015Samsung Galaxy S7 will be out of box with UHD. trust me is ... moreI doubt they will. Most they'd do is an implementation similar to Sony, but I doubt that too. 4k is a huge step up from 2k, and even if the GPU is a lot better it still isn't good enough IMO.

Of course it isn't going to reflect real usage but it should still be indicative of performance, and it generally is.

I don't see what all the excitement is about.

Benchmark tests are just that, they don't represent the real world, they're just synthetic test lab results to see what the chipset is capable of in lab conditions.

We all know that things are completely different in the real world and the use of every phone/device is different from software & firmware, to what the user/owner does with their device. To me there's only one true "benchmark" and that's the one when it's released with the full RTM soft/firmwares and it's put through its paces by an independent tester. It's only then will you get to see the true figures.

I have the Galaxy S6 and the Exynos processor in that phone is already super fast. The S7 is going to be a real beast, ready to destroy the competition.
