It looks great. It reminds me of my touch screen Zune that I've got, even kind of has that same interface look at times. I've always stayed away from WinMo phone after the epic failure that was my Palm Treo 800w. I really think that the phone has some serious potential. The old window OS did as well, it just had a bad interface. This one seems much more user friendly. As far as the bashing if for no copy an paste, I'm pretty sure the iPhone couldn't do that when it was first introduced, nor could it send MMS, pictures, the camera at the time was outdated my D900 was far superior in that department. I think that if they give this OS to the right devices and had the right hardware backing it. This could be a good contender to the Android OS, which I'm thinking about switching too.

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2010Who are the HTC photocopier company copying this time?
N... moreTo the clueless Apple lemmings, stop your cry baby lies or ignorant rants. Do some research before you slam a company who's offering a competing product. Yes, HTC is building on ideas already implemented by others. So did Apple, so did Nokia, so did all major players in every space. They all contribute something that's truly new once in a rare while. Most of the time, they offer some minor or major improvements to something that already exists.
I've used Nokia, SE and various WinMo devices for years and in the past year or so, Apple. Just like WinMo got Nokia to keep the game in high gear, Apple is now getting WinMo to grow up and deliver a decent OS for mobile devices. Of course, Android is making everyone get back on their toes again.
These improvements in WinMo is great for users and the industry in general. The HTC HD3 prototypes look very promising. I look forward to this hitting the streets and just as eagerly, I look forward to seeing what Google, Apple and Nokia will do to top this.

all those people that say no copy paste...its coming! A representative of microsoft's consumer blog said that before displaying it or showing it to the public, they needed to implement it to their code. By the time, Windows Mobile 7 is consumer-ready it will be there. Sheesh, you people have such a propensity to bash Windows, that you guys will utilize even the most cheap tactics to do so. Please, just use your considerable intelligence before posting.

Am Just reading all da Comments and some r damn hostile and some r way excited !! COme 1 !! B Logical !! I been using WM phone for more than 4 years .. very loyal to it as well as using iphone and other sets ( NO ANDROID YET ) . The main Beauty of Windows Phone is da Customization and Multi taskinG ( I BET Every 1 Of U Agree on It With Me ) .. WM 6.5.x and Older versions have just dead gorgeous and da best Home Screen and themes available than any other Handsets on da Market !! XDA developers and people at Modaco Supported this platform as well as HTC TouchFlo ( NOW SENSE ) Samsung TouchWiz and LG's S Class and WHo can Forget SPB Shell !! So If there is't what was da Main beauty of WM , Y should i or some 1 who loved WM Buy It ?? innovation is Good But Microsoft is FollowinG Iphone !! microsoft shd know the Strength of there Plat Form and Shd Not Drop it For All those who already Love WM for its multitasking and customization !! Else i Myself am going for Sony Ericsson Xperia 10 this Holiday Season !! And Lemme Tell U !! I Love and Have Loved My Samsung Omnia 2 Much More than Iphone 3GS !! Sorry Microsoft , But thats da way it is and Trust Me its da Voice of Every WM users !! Ask Urself , Dont u know that ??

Yes, I am here on this page again after learning about no copy/paste "Feature" and it looks like the more they are exposing this new OS the more I am going away from it. At start I kinda liked it but not any more. I need a real OS to work on and I appreciate their effort re-writing entire codes for it but they should've remember their strengths and worked around it.

No copy/paste, no file exploring, no SD Card recognizing, no third party app drag over etc. Full of crap is all bullcrap.

Hay listen!
Nothing to surprise, there are many older model phones (than what microsoft showing) that can take pics and share on facebook right from phone.
Black Berry is just one old example of them. So what's so funny.
