The second year ... morehere are the real rumors about the new iphone. the i phone 4g is ,supposed to be a little bit longer, HD resolution, capable of playing HD video, has a faster processer, and you can multi task(which is kinda late, cause most phone had that 10 years ago.)iam not sure about anything else.
No-body in here has mentioned the apple store which makes this phone different than any other phone with it's apps.
iam a phone freak and used to get the top of the line iphone all the time. I used to always hate on the iphone, because everybody had it, but once i got an iphone 3gs, i never looked at another one. doesn't matter what they have. it's the freakin apps that get u. there's plenty of phone that are faster, have a way better camera, and so on.
yet the apps always keep it exciting.
the iphone is like a knife, you can use it to kill someone or cut up a nice cold watermelon and eat it. you can use it your advantage and make use of some apps that actually make you progress, or you can waste your life on it, messin around with other apps. sometimes i dont like because it over-whelms you. so you have control your self and your time with this gadget and not waste your life on it.

hello ppl ..... sum people right that der r many other brands are selling bettter handset at less price of iphone ... but the apple iphone 3gs is best at end .... u cant compare the enjoyment if that with anyone ...... what ever the price of new iphone 4g ....i will buy ...cuz it is uncommon thing ...htc , samsung etc etc are so common person are using ... frm my side apple rocks

lol, 26 Mar 2010btw. iphones not 1 year old. if you are refering to the 3gs... morePeople make this mistake all too often. A 2G iPhone does NOT mean it's a 2nd Generation iPhone. People labeled it "2G" to differentiate it from the 3G model which is capable of using 3G networks. The 2G (1st Generation) iPhone uses the "2G" networks, more commonly known as GSM. Whether the next gen iPhone really is a "4G" network phone or is it now being labeled the 4th Generation (if you count the 3GS as 3rd generation) is something we won't know until it actually gets announced.

It is just a matter of time b4 Apple decides to sell the iphone unlocked. To combat the resurgence of other slick touch screen devices they must do this to increase unit sales. Some ppl who love the iphone don't want to leave their carriers, so it makes sense to unlock it and do what Google is doing with the Nexus one. The bottom line is to sell as many units as possible..right?

the iphone sucks worst phone on the market now compared to the high end phones samsung htc and nokia are bringing out i have one but never uses it it lacks simple featured eg multitasking most phones now a days can do that 3mpx cam no flash its hardly a phone only silly people would pay that kind a money for it now its outdated

But my point is that it's sad that the average consumer submits to surrendering money for an iPhone because they think it is the greatest thing that has ever happened to mankind. Like, it's really not that great - there are so many better phones. People buy it because it's flashy and well marketed - not because it's actually good.
For example (and these types of customers are very very regular)
"hey - I want one of those ipod phones"
"right. the iphone?"
"yeah - the ipod one - I need it for the calendar and stuff - my phone doesn't have a calendar"
"you have an n95. it does have a calendar"
"yeah but i need email - and you can't put music on this phone"
...and you can guess the rest. people with poor mobile knowledge are the main buyers of iPhone, and regularly take no interest in being able to use the internet/download apps/ etc etc etc.
Well marketed. Everyone has one. Don't be the dud to pull out your nokia/htc/ericsson on the train.

I too have been selling iPhone for (nearly) 3 years. I had a 16 3G and by the time the hype started I had lost interest. People who buy iPhone now do so because their friends have one. Not because they are a good handset.
Next iPhone will NOT be named 4G (@bobby) unless it truly uses a 4G signal. Following along the current lines of iPhone models, (2G ((for 2G network)), 3G ((for 3G network)), 3GS ((where s = 3G but SLIGHTLY different))) iPhone 4 will more than likely be named 3GSMf, where "f" stands for "fractionally" and "M" stands for "more". ie. iPhone 3G SLIGHTLY MORE different (however fractionally).
and so ends my rant....

seriously what is this!! 699 for a 32gb iphone its already about a year old it has 3.2 mega pixel camera and nothing else other than the ipod function and 3g !

The second year ... moreWOW your a fan like me. the so called 4G iphone( no idea why its being dubbed 4G) the whole idea of 3G was because of the signal i thought ;S and the 3GS as s = speed. Maybe the will name it the 3GSRO ( 3GS Rip Off) as realy how can the change it more apart from upping the camera and video quality and changing the software (which they can change the o/s without ahving to sell a new handset). i had an iphone and yes realy nice bit of kit but every1 is catching up with them. they need to move on now to somthing more spectacular.
personaly i have been selling the iphone for 3 years now and everytime they cahnge it nothing much has changed and people impulse buy the handset. well done apple great marketing stratergy. more fool every1 else. the 3g and 3gs veriant are good enough for people to use as they are more than capable of handaling most tasks. anyways i will post more when they release info on it.

apple thank you for ur innovation so that we can copy and use for less price with value added device such as nokia ,HTC HD 2 ,Samsumg ETC...you invent we harvest ...apple we dont give a dame about u any more one advice plz make some money with ur innovation before phone market become mature dont be another USSR
