Anonymous, 24 Mar 2010It's just stupid to compare camera qualities based on megap... moreWell I can't totally agree on that, of course, that is true, if the Canon camera is really good, but when comparing average 5-7 mp cameras with the 8 mp cameras on the really good phones, they produce about the same quality, the photo's don't look any worse on the phone once done in the daylight. I'm not talking about the flash light performance and so on... You have a point, but there are multiple truths and on the phones, what we used to see till now, were mostly performance of the camera improved while improving the mp scale(I'm talking about the fact that they improve all the characteristics of the camera by improving the mp scale). Unless of course this would change now, they would suddenly start doing even better phone cameras on the 5 mp range.

I have a sony 5mp camera, that is better than my 10mp canon ixus, not to speak then my friends rediculous 12mp sony ericsson satio or U1. Did you ever compare pictures, don't emberess yorself on the internet, everyone can read it... :D

Yep Lg Is'nt that much good enough, that you are comparing it with samsung. Samsung mobiles are Far Far better than those of Lg's.

lg copied samsung watch phone,projector phone,nokia n92 is copied form of samsung z700 and motorola aura is copied form samsung b100.
samsung is the one the 3 companies that build burj dubai.

okay that aside, i think this phone is gonna run pretty smoothly..
since its not running on windows,which eats up every MB of ur ram every 5 days...its running on android..so its safer probably
5 mp shutter is alright still, since no matter how many MP a mobile phone camera has,it's still crap compared to a proper camera,so that's not big a deal.
4" display should be awesome,bt the main menu is too "iPhone-ish".
Super Amoled(according to reviews), wont let ppl down under direct sunlight..
bt samsung has to up the game if they wanna be on top. Customer service,although its okay here in singapore, is very bad elsewhere.
if this is the I9000,by right, it's the successor of the Omnia II right?
i have the omnia II now,and loving it. But windows really kills it someway..
I hope the Galaxy S won't disappoint it's buyers. It such an awesome phone on paper

I really support the comment of the guy below about the megapixels. It's just rubbish market trick.. And I would even say that my 6 years old Canon 2 MP camera makes better pictures than 8 MP phones!

Hmm.. Shouldn't they have announced this a bit later..? I mean,they pretty much just made their Samsung Wave S8500 obsolete.. Now i wanna buy this one instead.. But,we'll see how it goes 1st..
