HTC One A9 to get Android 6.0.1 this month, M9 on track for 6.0

07 December, 2015
The two updates should hit the devices before the end of the year, though the One M9 will only get the first Marshmallow release it seems.

I have noticed that some 3000mah batterys do about the same length of time as the A9 . Also the A9 battery is bigger than the iphone 6s. which I also like but I wouldn't swap my A9 for quids. really really nice. I customised the wallpaper. My mates 2 are really sharp but total joy to use. The marshmallow is fast, clean and almost stock

there will come a time when you will so the OS on a smartphone reads

                    iDroid

and everyone will bow down to it.

Good to see HTC is making good on their promise, Im loving the A9 and if the m10 is anywhere near as good I'll be getting it too.

Yup great news. I bought 3 unlocked and imported to Australia and have already received some updates two weeks ago as well.
I have to say of all the phones I have looked at, felt, used and pawed over, the HTC A9 is seriously the most outstanding feeling beautiful handset I have ever used. Its feel good premium-ness is really terrific.. Very very happy

                            What about Europe HTC?

You already screwed us over on the price of this handset compared to the US....
We`re gonna get worse after sales support too?

Almost 45 minutes after news is posted and still no comments. It seems not many people interested in this news because almost non of them purchased A9. Not because device is that bad - device is fine, but because price is just insane... Not only crazy prices in Europe, but even 500 USD HTC is asking in US sounds crazy. One might like the device and even consider getting it, but once he knows the price it becomes like: thanks but no thanks...
