S6 has defective screen with very poor TN-like viewing angles that Samsung rejects to replace. They just suggest to sue them. XDA has 100-page thread on this issue. That's for S6. N5 has same issue. And Samsung finds nothing else, but to send you on big 4 letters, as you still can read the text from the screen, then no issue. A premium device with substandard display and basement service.

And either Samsung carefully selects units for DisplayMate reviewers, or they just pay them to ignore this mass defect.

It isn't just displaymate, which is one of the few objective display reviewers, but also every other review everywhere. Which should means more that your own opinion even to you, who even thinks TN has better viewing angles despite it being even worse than a normal LCD.
You would struggle to find a single review criticising Samsung's amoled and saying something else is better. You're talking complete nonsense and nobody anywhere will take you seriously if you act like it's bad. This isn't something as subjective as ux or design or os, Samsung is the definite, consistent winner when it comes to displays. It even allows you to change saturation so there is no subjectivity even there.

Samsung has giant number of defective displays that have viewing angels not better than TN. I have devices with both AMOLED and Sharp's IPS. And second is better and much more reliable.

Before you answer please keep in mind that Displaymate rated Samsung amoled as the best display, with the most accurate colour reproduction (and claim it is 'visually indistinguishable from perfect'), inter alia.
Here is a quote:
The Galaxy S6 has more than double the resolution and more than 4 times the number of pixels as the iPhone 6. It also has significantly higher peak Brightness, significantly higher Contrast Ratio in both low and high Ambient Light, significantly higher Absolute Color Accuracy, significantly better Viewing Angel performance, and has 4 selectable screen modes instead of a single fixed one on the iPhones.
