Just ordered my X10, it was released on the internal systems at work about an hour ago, delivery tomorrow! And with my staff discount that makes it £17.50 a month on an 18 month contract, even without multi touch I can't complain!

Just as i said, there will always be something really big missing in SE flagship devices. No multi touch....... SE i am so diappointed at you, your best handsets for me have always been p910i and K800 only. after these two whatever you have brought out has been a failure.
Either you bring out of date OS or item that are too expensive for nothing. your X10 may look good just like Satio. it wont last long just like satio.
Learn from market on which handset to release when to release and how to do marketing.

SE 2010, 29 Mar 2010There has been some confusing news spreading out lately, an... moreLack of multi-touch on a touchscreen device probably isn't a problem, if one is charging US$400 for a phone.
But we're talking about a US$755 (where I live, unlock without contract), and SE is telling me it offers a top-of-the-line handset WITHOUT multi-touch and without Android 2.1 as of April 2010?

Keith, 30 Mar 2010Nothing is highly overrated when they are asking for $770. ... moreExactly. It should have every spec that they can possibly handle and fit in that mobile device. I mean the nexus one and desire is $200 cheaper and you get a lot more out of it than you do out this xperia x10. Back then Sony had the status to highly price their electronics and consumers would obliviously purchase them without a thought, but they've had so many failures after the P series phones I dont know what they have left. These days the only company who can highly price their electronic devices and get away with it is apple.

If they were selling this phone for $300-$400 cheaper, then you could debate which features they could leave out. At nearly $800, nothing should be left out.

So no multi-touch for the X10.
Anybody still think it's worth $770?

Ya, u should not judge the phone on a 8/10 yet. The last time the SE Xperia was a flop and you rated them just as high..please test the phone before rating gsmarena. It's only fair to others.

I personally like X10 because:
1. The entire phone design. Really looks great to me.
2. Timescape! I have watched the video of Timescape, Motoblur & Friend Stream. I still prefer Timescape.
3. A decent Camera (really decent, unlike Eye-Phone). Normally No one will bring a DC together with him/her all the day. With a decent camera on phone, I can take picture anytime anywhere.
4. MicroSD. Can easily transfer data between home & office, as most company req'd some administrator right to install SW, thus direct data cable transfer is not possible.
5. Removable battery. I may have choosen X10Mini if it has a removable battery. As a heavy user, battery is the 1st thing that always End-Of-Life.
I can bear with:
1. Lack of Xenon Flash.
2. 65k TFT Screen.
3. lack of Pin-zooming
Just hope that:
1. Adobe Flash will be supported after updates.(I remember someone from Google ever said "All Android Phone will support Adobe Flash)
2. Quickly clearify ST/DT/MT news. It is not good to keep confusing customer.
Still waiting for it to reach Singapore.
