I must be one of the mentally challenged as mine arrived today and it's an amazing device. I don't want a surface as though has benefits of windows it also has all the negatives! I paired apple mouse with it and edited a word doc. Now using in tablet mode to surf web and use android ecosystem. I've got a windows tablet but android apps so much quicker for sky go etc and not closed system like ios so for me it's perfect. The optimised apps will come. Think this will be start of chrome OS and android merge.

Windows is light years behind ios and Android in content consumption, really who buys them? (Instead of windows laptop which are better in all shapes and forms).

$605 US for a tablet, yeah...no. I still stand by my belief that Android OS is still not as good as Windows in terms of getting real work done. They are unparalleled when it comes to entertainment use, and they're slowly bridging the gap for business oriented individuals, but the lack of ability to run (x86) applications still hinders it.
