Bunna, 10 Dec 2015Xiaomi never use outdated specs for CPU and GPUExactly what I was thinking. They may go for non-Intel processor but using 4th generation Intel processor when 6th generation will be all around in the market...Just doesn't seem so like the Xiaomi we know.

Better take the processor spec with a pinch of salt for the moment.

for non gamers xiaomi should provide a model with intel integrated graphics for lower power consumption and greater linux distro independent graphics driver compatibility.

The 760m is more than twice as powerful than that useless 820m card you're talking about...even my 650m beats that 820m to the ground

These guys are ridiculous. I don't know how they find suppliers that can support those selling prices.

Though I'd personally prefer a Debian-based distro for the performance gains, but Valve's Steam support is certainly more full fledged for Ubuntu.

A sub-500 dollar laptop with discrete GPU and an i7 would be quite frankly, awesome. Let's just hope that the screen is an IPS panel.

They should just provide an option to have Windows or Linux when a user buys it online. That would be great since alotta PC users won't be appealed by linux.
