I think my list of items is pretty self explanatory and can't be refuted.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2015Copy. Copy. Copy.Yeah, yes, yep. The non-brainy Apple copied the brainiest Samsung's 'Air View' renamed as 3D Touch and put on their new phones to satisfy the iphools. Samsung is bringing it back to prove that it was originally their idea.

Why is it that Samsung ALWAYS fol... moreWhat's embarrassing is that you don't even recognise that the features of 3d touch were taken straight from air view.
The market was moving towards the other things anyway, hence why patents for such things already existed, and why Apple was able to just buy it off a shelf and put it in. Funny how people like you always ignore all the things that Apple copied.

Apple copies Samsung too. Else the iPhone Plus would never exist.
Everyone copies the success of everyone. It's plain dumb to bash a single company for doing so and closing the eyes for all the others.
And still the devices have their differences which is good for the confusion sumers.

So, I'm glad they're only copying the good stuff!

smarterthanyou, 15 Dec 2015you did not mention the expandable storage - dual sim optio... moreAnd all of those things are secondary functions to an essential customer experience. Only a fragment of the population would care or use them, aside from perhaps waterproofing.
Hence why Apple doesn't bother with many of them, because they do not have a positive impact on the majority of customers or the core journeys. Things like MicroSD cards are an unnecessary source of errors and performance issues. Pens for a phone are counterintuitive, but not so for tablets. AMOLED is a technical term and 90% of people would not be able to spot the difference if you'd ask them or even care. Infrared remote? Oh come on.
Packing a phone with features that simply overcomplicate the experience is what Samsung does, but if you look at Xiaomi - who are following closely in Apple's footsteps - they are quickly kicking Samsung out of China. That's good copying.

Why is it that Samsung ALWAYS follow Apple in everything in the very next release?
Siri -> S-Voice
TouchID - Samsung's swipe fingerprint
Apple Pay - Samsung Pay
3D Touch - Samsung Touch... or whatever they'll call it.
It's not about the technology, it's the fact that Samsung blatantly add the same features just to stay "in the game". That's embarassing...
