Snapdragon 820 might be exclusive to Samsung until April

I will definitely NOT buy a Samsung phone just because it's the only one with 820 chipset. I can wait for better phones that will be released later next year. I really think because of this behaviour I will never buy a Samsung phone again and wait for XPERIA Z6!

Exynos phones maybe load apps faster, but they are so much inferior in graphic performance than snapdragon phones.
See any graphic benchmark tests recorded on yt to convince yourselves, the inferior framerating on samsung devices is really too obvious.
So Snapdragon anytime, exynos no thanks

Just boycott samsung...
They consistently use extortion ( like in this case), bribery and lies ( proven before the court more than once) to make the most buck of their mobile bussiness...
They are like...Monsanto of tech buissness, and should be banned to sell by law.

Unless you are getting blackberry flagship of course. It is made to last at least 2 years. No phones are made to run for 20 years. And besides all phones lags after a year for some reason. And I mean all... including Samsung and Iphones. That is what life is. Or not AAPL would not be so lucrative.

Yes, 820 might be slower than M1, but it's already faster than 7420, and we have no issues or whatsover with 7420. So, the thing that should really be put much efforts into in parallel with the current chip race is gpu. So you're getting slower cpu and gpu, where's the good in that? I'm happy not to be in US, therefore I'll probably get the exynos version, I feel bad for US customers, it's as if Samsung is continuously punishing them.

Point is that all exynos devices eventually get Cyanogenmod support , they just get it a bit after Qualcomm devices. But so what? I will take good hardware over quick support any time. My exynos device is still running like a champ , if it was a Qualcomm it would already feel way too slow.

What 820 should be proud of is its blazingly fast GPU, currently topping A9's gpu capabilites. Increasing cpu's speed is not really as important, getting fast as 810 or 7420 is more than enough...
