Smart ... moreApple iPhone's are cheap Chinese assembled crap and with many of the components sourced from Samsung (Display from LG and Sharp). It costs less than $200 to make one iPhone, but Apple sells it for $700 or more. Selling price alone doesn't make it premium. Even Samsung Phones are more costlier to make. Also, Apple has one of the lowest R&D investment ratio in the tech industry with spending of less than 2% of their capital on R&D.

Apple guys defend the premium loot with what ever logic they have at that moment. A large screen phone was a laughing stock for iphone users. When apple does cater to it, they switch to some other logic! LCDvsAMOLED.....yes your are right apple will give you a few years later don't worry!
Anyways, when someone enjoys paying > 600 bucks for a phone worth 200/250 bucks...why not, apple always rocks( your wallet first, next what ...is your thought).

Apple rocks as long as people enjoy the loot done by apple in the name of premium. A simple cable costs 30$ which is worth 1$. Why not? when people enjoy it in the name of so called premium tag!

I wouldn't touch any apple device even if it was a gift, over priced, they also trample over anyone & everyone. A few years back they even tried to hit a firm with copyright infringement on a camera patent, best part was Kodak owned the patent at that time not Apple.
