            Just one problem:

which battery it use? If it's a standard one, then bring it to the AD to open the case, change a new battery and water-res test every 2 months will be a pain in the a$$.

Bomj, 18 Dec 2015This will not happen. Mechanical movement is mechanical mov... moreOnly because the band is not supported anymore. But that would be a relic worth some grands in any bid if still works as originally intended.

I just checked the official website and it's listed at $9,900 CAD. It's definitely marketed to a luxury class customer.

Mechanical movement is mechanical movement; today, tomorrow or 100yrs ago. Smartphones and computer technologies improve and get upgraded on a literary daily basis. There is no point in investing so much effort in a device that will become obsolete in a few years. First truly "handheld" cellphone was made by Motorola in 1973, it was a piece of art, and some of them work still today; but I bet you don't want something like this in your pocket.

I wonder when the SmartPhones manufacturers will start doing what watchmakers did centuries ago.

Craft beautiful, sturdy and precise pieces that could be used by your sons and grandsons, and still work as precisely as the day they were made.

Instead of that they cover aluminium in gold and jewels, and the phone it'self is done and broken within 1.5 years (3 at tops for some Nokia models).

This is Breitling, for goodness' sake. You're looking at $5000 or more. This watch is not for plebs like you and me.
