For using their desig... moreso straightforward "other company" doesn't have "those technology" like what apple has, very interesting as if apple "knows" everything about technology "they cant/never sue a company" like the status of ericsson we know they want to control but that only in their wildest imagination they pretend they are the "best" but they are dreaming, wake-up!

AnonD-152638, 23 Dec 2015Ok, give an example for when Samsung did that. If you say ... moreU would never agree!!!! Iam not surprised at all!!!! Only Apple cheats other companies and customers and pays a undisclosed fraction/ while fleecing the customers (probably like u).

U know how much Apple will pay and that it is only a fraction because you were sitting there when the two were having the meeting and enjoying the drama!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2015Incredibly smart strategy indeed!!!!! Copied from Samsung!!!!!!!Ok, give an example for when Samsung did that.
If you say Apple vs Samsung. I would not agree. And anyhow, that relates to iPhones. and Apple did not pay licencing fees for the first iPhone. So Apple would have had to been first then.

But as I said, other companies would not get away with it.
There has been comanies that have tried to get away without paying license, but they have been force by court to pay the full amount. Apple only had to pay a fraction, that is the difference.

Looks like the fruity serial patent infringing tech thief got exposed.
Apple still hasn't paid samsung for stealing their LTE technology. Apple needs to take a hike. The tech world doesn't need them. How important really is a company whose greatest achievement is drawing pretty rectangles?

A lot of mobile communications technology today are actually developed by (or co-developed with) ericsson and nokia. These companies will earn as long as mobile communications is alive

Other companies as I know never had court trials over patents in electronic products industry but apple is sued many times in last years. Companies with stealed patents should require high amount of money and apple would never do it again.

How many more technologies in apple products are stealed. My advice is that companies who develop technologies should examine apple products to see if they are hurting their patents and require pay. As we can see that they are stealling other technologies without shame and wait if others will find out that their patents are stealed. Why pay as we can get it free if we success in stealling is Apple moto.

Don't pay, until the receiving company and court, are so glad to see you pay, that they accept anything, even though it's only a fraction of the amount they should have payed.

Apple did the same to Nokia as well.

The problem is that no other company, would get away with it. Couty would force them to pay the full amount plus damages.

Samsung -> Apple -> Ericsson, at the end SONY win

So yeah. Sheeps.

Apple sued samsung over similar design choices which is ridicules as everyone can design even without degree but on the other side stealing real technologies from companies that invested time, money and talent to develop it. There are really "wise people" inside Apple company.
