Google reportedly partnering with Ford to mass produce self-driving cars

Google and Ford are coming together to form a joint venture that will focus on manufacturing of autonomous vehicles, according to a new report. The partnership between the companies will be announced at the upcoming CES event in January.

          Sure, there are benefits to the idea, but then again, trusting technology to take you from A to B is a crazy thing to do.

          Like I said, if it were mandated that suddenly ALL cars are on "autopilot", then fine, it may just work.

It should be a service offered by Google and several other companies. It is a complete waste to have a car standing on the parking spot the whole day waiting for the owner to drive it one hour per day.

                                        What if the cars OS is affected by virus or a off market os installed or ads played when we are inside or even worse car stops by itself on recommended places and refuse to start until we buy something. Limits are endless, but the tech is inspiring.
