Adobe Flash is a great tool for making something interactive or video-related stuff like the Youtube does. But the crux is that most of the so-called 'web designers' intensely use Flash to make fancy stuff on their websites & ADVERTISEMENTS WITHOUT OPTIMISING their codes, which turns out to consume a lot of CPU resources thus draining the battery of mobile devices vert fast.

Now, there is a newer standard called 'HTML5', which aims to reduce the need for proprietary plug-ins like Adobe Flash in order to make browsing easily and faster. HTML5 is definitely the future (using less CPU resources, standards-base).

Adobe Flash may have just finished its own historical responsibility for the computers.

I would't like to see Opera on n900 (because of the speed/page compresion). MicroB is very good but the amount of data used is killing me.

Everybody but iphone fanboys cares about flash.

Its the best online method ever developed for multimedia and interactive content!

How come the great apple quicktime has failed? How come youtube doesn't use quicktime? or any other site for that matter?

Same with microsoft media player and same with HTML5.
HTML5 is ready and able to display video, have you seen anyone embrace it yet?

Now we know why Nokia's own home grown OS doesn't come cheap. It deserves every penny you spend on it. Unlike Apple's iPhone.
A true smart phone. Better than Android, Windows Phone, iPhone, Bada, Symbain and all other.
          Champion.
          Nokia.
          N900.
