12mp res. On mobiles is a lie! It's interpolated whatever they will lie! Have you ever seen a 12 mp ccd/cmos image sensor and lens of a compact photocamera? It's very big,no place to put on the back of the mobile! I think 3mp is the ultimate res. Wich can be real on a ccd/cmos image sensor of a mobile phone's camera

Hope this news is correct an some new High-Tech mobiles from Nokia,as they have trailed for a bit in the camera mobile market,O.k people have always expected Nokia to compete more in the camera mobile market but because of the catching up in the Touch Screen market they have been very quite indeed,why couldn"t Nokia make the N82 an Touch Screen mobile as the size of the N82 is not bad,an for Nokia to just to put inside a touch screen panel inside the N82 it would really please alot of people,like to see the supposed to be N8 features an camera,but if Nokia make there own mistake again announce the N8 to early an then the others bring a more hi-tech mobile out trying to lower the sales of the N8

Satio's and Pixon12's 12 mp camera is useless because of small lense and only 3x zoom..
Why need 12mp camera if they have same zoom level as 5mp camera phone...
Btw pictures from a good 5 mp camera or 12 camera phone will look same on the small display of phone..

Nokia has done exceptionally well with it's mid range handsets in the east, but you can't compare the two companies. The iphone is more of a Niché device with larger support and a well founded App store, than say the N900, which despite being a great smartphone, still could take any number of directions. It's like the old Mac vs PC argument again when comparing the two.

I wouldn't say Nokia were too late to make a 12mp camera, but I find it hard to believe that they have not released a phone with the N86's camera plus a xenon flash. My N86 takes fantastic photos, but does struggle in low light where the N82 excelled.
The thing is, there are so many features nowadays available for phones, that the likes of Nokia/Samsung/SE cannot please everyone.
The N8 should have a 8mp camera. Why keep going for more pixels when camera phones have tiny lenses? Improve on current standards. I'm looking forward to seeing this Symbian, and comparing it to the likes of Android and Maemo.

You know, a 1GHz CPU + a crappy GPU isn't anywhere near a 600MHz CPU + a nice GPU. Also don't forget about DSP:s.

Insted of offering new mobiles Nokia should upgrade their best selling mobiles.For example:-
Nokia E71 to Nokia E71s with 3.5 mm jack,faster processor,good inbult memory etc.
Nokia N73 to Nokia N73s with thin form factor,microsd support,wi-fi,better cpu and so on.
What do you think?

Nokia really need to make an e series device with full touch screen and with a very slim profile just like what they did with the e71 that would be a perfect device for many users because so far nokia have made just too many bulky and thick touch screen devices with the exception of the 5530.I currently use iphone 3gs and nokia e71 and i have to admit nokia e71 has been a very great device with great usabillity and many shortcuts,though the iphone edges my e71 in multimedia features but it s no where near the e71 in terms of important features

i always know that nokia is no needed to build a powerful device to dominate the market,but,nokia shall re-engineer theirselves to know how to build the popular product。if,nokia can make a touch phone with e71/e72 dimension,it will be appreciated and would be the most best product of the year。
