Nvidia infringed Samsung patents, ITC judge rules

23 December, 2015
A judge at the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has ruled that Nvidia did in fact infringe three patents held by Samsung. The ruling isn't final, however, since it's subject to review by the full agency. A final decision on the matter is expected in a few months.

Samsung is master in reverse engineering. Samsung came late after Nokia was ruling the world and then Nokia collapsed and Samsung filled the void.

It seems that it's cheaper to pay settlements than to invest in R&D.

And as far as this go,you can never be sure who is right without reading a bit more about situation. I am no fan of Samsung but I would say they could be right, but even so I think this will be resolved quickly as I don't see either of these companies wanting to give off bad feeling about how they function.
