Having the same issues as posted by other users on my Moto G3 after update to 6.0.1
-Notification window not fully scrolling down
-Not receiving any notification
-Not being able to get phone calls
-Apps crashing for no apparent reason (even WhatsApp)

The only downside is that you will loose all your music and apps that you downloaded into your phone.

@Sam, Bipul - I am having the EXACT same problem since the last 2-3 days : All of a sudden, very randomly, my phone stopped receiving calls and showing the notifications bar. I spent the entire day today talking to MotoG and their final suggestion was to send the device to them. I don't want to do that so if you or anyone figures what the problem is, please post the solution here for me and others like us.

After reading all the reviews of marshmallow updates for Moto G3. I had decided to continue with Lollipop version. But after knowing about the features like better battery backup, advanced data option, new call option and better security. I took a risk to upgrade to Marshmallow. And after updating I found it is amazing. Nice UI, better click response, better animations, faster speed, no such change in battery performance in negative aspects. It is great. I might say guys who have updated marshmallow and getting problem must have updated with containing all the apps and data internal memory. Guys plz have a look before upgrading/updating to any update or marshmallow, and follow these steps-
1. Please move all possible apps to your SD card, transfer as much data as audio, video, pictures also.
2. Try to make you internal memory free as much possible.
3. Remove the sd card after complete initial two steps.(Steps 1 and 2)
4. And then update to marshmallow.
It will take less time also while installing update files and optimising apps afterwards. Update downloading time depends upon your internet connection speed. Try to follow these steps and enjoy new upgrade.

I am using moto g3 for last 8 months. Suddenly last week my phone went off for 4/5 hours then home screen button is not working and incoming calls are not coming and even the notification panel is not opening. And despite of having a pin password the phone is opening without password.pls help me
